'Thankful Village' information board, Toft
'Thankful Village' information board, Toft
In WW1 all 7 Toft men who served in the Armed Forces survived & returned home safely. Toft is therefore a 'Thankful Village' & in fact the only one in the county. This board was installed in 2018 alongside the WW2 war memorial outside the Methodist Chapel. (TL3556 : War Memorials, the Methodist Chapel, Toft)
