Two white horses grazing in old railway cutting
Two white horses graze in the grassy railway cutting south of Woodford Halse. The cutting carried the Great Central Railway's London Extension Line on its way from Nottingham to London, closed in 1966. The Stratford & Midland Junction Railway's line crossed this cutting on a bridge, now demolished, that sat behind the trees in the middle distance.
