Sherborne - The Britannia Inn
Sherborne - The Britannia Inn
Sherborne is full of fine old buildings, this one in Westbury Street is now the Britannia Inn, but originally the left-hand side of it was a school founded by William, Lord Digby in 1743 for poor girls; a plaque above the entrance commemorates its former use.
