Memorial, Fraserburgh Harbour, Aberdeenshire
The memorial commemorates 13 Fraserburgh lifeboat crew who have died in three separate incidents. Behind is the lifeboat station with an Ordnance Survey active station on it (the white dome). In the background is fishing boat FR226 Challenge.
There was a short-lived University in Fraserburgh at the start of the 17th century. A commemorative plaque is said to be on the wall of the Alexandra Hotel at the corner of Denmark Street with the High Street NJ994671. A photo of the hotel/plaque would be of interest.
