taken 2 years ago, near to Hedgerley, Buckinghamshire, England

Yellow fungus on tree root, Egypt Woods
Yellow fungus on tree root, Egypt Woods
This brightly coloured patch of fungi was on a decaying tree root beside the path, under an oak tree but there have been conifers in this wood. They were up to three centimetres high. Probably Yellow Stagshorn. See SU9586 : Yellow Stagshorn fungus (probably), Egypt Woods for close-up view and more description of other possible identification.
