Statue of St Chad at Lichfield Cathedral
Built mainly between 1195 and 1330, the Anglican cathedral of St Chad and Saint Mary is one of the major medieval cathedrals of England, but less well known than others. Key features include the Flemish glass of the Lady Chapel, and a permanent exhibition of the Lichfield Gospel Book and part of the Staffordshire Hoard. For a fuller description see the Wikipedia entry or the list description (unsurprisingly, the cathedral is listed grade I, list entry 1298431)
