Broomfield Tavern, Coventry
The Broomfield Tavern is tucked away in Broomfield Place opposite Sovereign Row Park (also known as Broomfield Park) in the Spon End area of Coventry. It is believed to have been owned by the Northampton Brewing Company at one time, but later passed to Mann's. Even so, in the 1970s apparently the only draught beer served was Ansell's mild. Today, it operates as a free house with a wide choice of beers and ciders.
