Building Winter Wonderland roller coaster, Hyde Park
The five rings of the roller coaster are coloured to follow those of the Olympics symbol, so it is generally known as Olympia Looping, but also known as Munich Looping. The words on the rings are Looping, München for Munich, and Barth for the owners R Barth and Sons. It is the largest portable steel roller coaster in the world, see Wikipedia article Link . View from path outside the fairground site, during construction. See TQ2880 : Rollercoaster at Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park, London for 2016 photo of it lit up in operation.
Berkeley Square was laid out as a garden in 1698. Lord Clive lived on the west side at No.45. It has some magnificent plane trees planted in the mid-18th century. See more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berkeley_Square
