Williamson Square, Liverpool
Williamson Square, Liverpool
The fountain was opened in November 2004 as part of Liverpool's City Centre Movement Strategy. There are 20 jets of water forming a double arch rising straight out of the paving to a height of about 4 metres. Surrounding the fountain, inlaid into the paving, is a poem by Roger McGough on the theme of water.
