Woodland scene in Himley Plantation Staffordshire
Looking south-south-west towards Swindon. This track from Bridgnorth Road turns eastwards about three hundred metres ahead, where the wood meets farmland, then on towards an access point by Himley Lane.

Himley Plantation dates from the 18th Century and was once part of the Estate of the Earl of Dudley. The main body of the site lies to the south of a dismantled railway line and is mature mixed high-forest woodland largely comprising of oak and sycamore. LinkExternal link
