A series of sea caves, stacks and natural arches, formed in 400 million year old Devonian Conglomerates. Made popular by the Game of Thrones series, which were partly filmed here.

Sea Caves

Sea Caves are one of the first stages in coastal erosion. The waves pick out weaknesses in the rock and enlarge them into caves. Afterwards caves may develop into Natural Arches and Stacks.

Game of Thrones Filming Locations

GOT was filmed in a variety of locations in Northern Ireland, as well as other countries.
