The narrow gauge (3ft/0.915m) tourist railway runs between the town of Bushmills and to near the Giant's Causeway. It uses part of the trackbed of the former Giant's Causeway Tram. This electric tramway opened between 1883 and 1887, running the nine and a quarter miles (14.9km) between Bushmills and Portrush. It closed in 1949.
