The Church of St Mary the Virgin in Bishopsbourne
A mainly thirteenth century church restored by Sir George Gilbert Scott. The west window was designed in 1874 by Edward Burne-Jones of William Morris and Company. The Elizabethan theologian Richard Hooker is commemorated in the chancel.
