TA2317 : Humber Mudflats

taken 2 years ago, 4 km WSW of Sunk Island, East Riding of Yorkshire, England

Humber Mudflats
Humber Mudflats
Taken from about 100m up. The intricate channels on the mudflats can be seen here at low tide. The flats here are totally inaccessible by foot. Between here and the Humber riverbank footpath is a 10 metre wide deep and muddy channel which is completely impossible to walk across. A full Geograph for this square would only be possible from a boat on the River Humber (it can just be seen at the top of the photo).
