Star of the show at the 175th-Year Open Day at Inchicore Railway Works was newly restored 121 class locomotive No. B134. Owned by the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland, the loco has spent recent years at the works undergoing restoration, and was revealed at the event resplendent its original 1961 grey and yellow livery. It retains more modern additions such as the LED headlight clusters, multiple-working sockets and yellow sidewalk handrails, which will allow to return to working on the national network again.
