L&BR trackbed in the Yeo Valley

Looking south towards SS5934 : Snapper Cattle Creep Bridge, Snapper Halt, & Barnstaple. The last trains on the narrow gauge Lynton & Barnstaple Rly ran 31 years previously but the low embankment can still be made out in the foreground. This section of the trackbed is now owned by Exmoor Associates, an organisation that supports the reinstatement of the full length of the railway.
