Park House, number 21 High Street, has medieval origins, but is mainly 18th century and 1852. Probably originally an open hall house, it is now an 'L' shape. The 18th century cross wing contains earlier fragments. The 1852 main range was built for Burghley House estate. Constructed of squared, coursed limestone under a Collyweston stone slate roof. Easton on the Hill is a village in the eastern tip of north Northamptonshire, some 2 miles southwest of Stamford. The village name means 'east farm/settlement' on the hill. Most working residents travel to Stamford or Peterborough.
