Numbers 23 and 27 Church Street was originally one house, dated 1686. The building was converted into three dwellings in the 19th century and is now two houses with a later rear extension. Constructed of squared, coursed limestone under a Collyweston stone slate roof. Listed, grade II, with details at: LinkExternal link
Easton on the Hill is a village in the eastern tip of north Northamptonshire, some 2 miles southwest of Stamford. The village name means 'east farm/settlement' on the hill. Most working residents travel to Stamford or Peterborough.
