Goathland "Volunteer" Fire Station
Goathland "Volunteer" Fire Station
The fire engine is an adapted 4x4 vehicle which fits snugly into this 12ft x 18ft garage. Nine retained firemen are based here, they train once a week. In January 2012 they contacted the Guinness Book of Records to see if they were the "smallest fire station in the world". The reply was that it was not currently a category, but they would look into it. I can find no update on that on the internet.
