Remains of Roman wall in Verulamium Park
Remains of Roman wall in Verulamium Park
St Albans Cathedral was built like the vanished monastery from the flint and red tiles of ruined Roman Verulamium. Most of the Roman remains are now to be seen in Verulamium Park. This stretch of Roman wall is in the park.
