Gaddings Dam
Earth embankment dam dating back to 1833 to supply the mills of nearby Lumbutts. The reservoir fell into disuse due to closures.
A group of locals rescued the reservoir from complete drainage in 2001, and continue to maintain it to the required standards.
On the warm day of my visit, quite a few souls were swimming and sunbathing here.
