SD9718 : Turvin Road

taken 2 years ago, 3 km from Summit, Rochdale, England

This is 1 of 3 images, with title Turvin Road in this square
Turvin Road
Turvin Road
The B6138 approaching the A58 beside Blackstone Edge Reservoir. This is the top of over 5 miles of gradual but continuous ascent from Mytholmroyd through Cragg Vale - the longest in England.
Much favoured by cyclists, whose legs must have turned to jelly on reaching this point.
