SU1405 : Replacing the A31 westbound bridges at Ringwood

A scheme of National Highways to replace the bridge carrying the westbound carriageway of the A31 over the River Avon. The existing bridge was two lanes; the new one was three lanes wide.
National Highways: "Widening the A31 to three lanes at Ringwood, between the A31 junction for Ringwood town centre, the B3347 Mansfield Road and the B3081 Verwood Underpass.
Start date 2020-21. End date November 2022. Cost £25 to 30 million." Link
