Yellow Steeple, Trim, Co. Meath
The former bell tower of the Augustinian abbey of St Mary is over 120 feet high, and its present condition is due to the severe damage it sustained in 1649 by Cromwell's army. The name comes from the colour of the stonework at sunset. The view is from the field close to the building known as Talbot's Castle in Abbey Lane.
