The Sheringham Trawler, 50 High Street, Sheringham
50 High Street is apparently one of two pairs of houses that are not on the 1885 OS map but apparently show on the 1905 OS map. Until recently (2017) it was 50 and 50a, The Sheringham Trawler occupying half of the building and The Little Treasure Chest the other half (50A). Prior to that, until at least August 2011 it was 50 Dave's Cafe and 50A The Wardrobe Warehouse. Recent sales suggest at least one flat exists above the shop. In 1974 planning approved the addition of a second flat and one bedsitter. In 1991 a change of use was approved for an Indian restaurant. Conversion from two to one business was designed by SMG Chartered Architects.
