The fire engine was returning from using water from the moat (in the foreground) to dampen down some of the drought affected foliage along the sea wall near Coalhouse Fort, Tilbury.
River Thames

A large casemated fort in East Tilbury. It is 2.3 miles (3.7 km) downstream from Tilbury Fort. It contains a museum of memorabilia from World War I and II.
