Clock Tower Gate, Wallington Hall
Clock Tower Gate, Wallington Hall
This is the north entrance to Wallington Hall and consists of a three-bay building with a central archway between large coupled Tuscan columns and crowned by a big lantern with a cupola on an open rotunda of columns. Designed by Daniel Garrett in 1754, it was originally intended to be a chapel, and to have Venetian windows.
