Dating from the early 20’s the “minimalist” Lifeboat bar, in Queen’s Square, seems to have escaped the architectural guidebooks. Just under 1,000 sq ft, it was reported sold for a substantial figure. It is likely to be replaced by a new building containing a bar/restaurant, offices and apartments. The hoardings on the left hide J3474 : New building, Belfast.
