Boyle Bridge, Bridge Street, Boyle, Co. Roscommon
The bridge was built in 1846 and replaced a previous bridge of five arches that was liable to flooding. It carries Bridge Street (part of the N61 road) across the River Boyle. The building on the left covered in white plastic sheeting is the former Royal Hotel. It was purchased by Roscommon County Council some years ago and is being renovated for community use.
