This northward-facing bay was certainly in use in Ben Brooksbank's 1961 view SP4640 : Banbury Station and I think I recall it still in use in my trainspotting days in the 1980s, but the track has since been lifted.

Banbury Station opened in 1850. It is located on the Chiltern Main Line.
