Standing cross
A scheduled monument in Braithwell village square. A plaque tells us that the cross was erected to celebrate the freedom from bondage of King Richard II in 1191.It was restored in 1953, the Coronation Year of Queen Elizabeth II.

The bistro and wine bar on the far side of the square was the Red Lion pub when the cross was geographed in 2007 SK5394 : Village Street
