Bird's Folly and the site of the former Engine Shed
Bird's Folly and the site of the former Engine Shed
The track continues straight on with a turnout just past the fence which protects the site of the former engine shed and pits. The engine shed was constructed in 1914, of a timber frame and asbestos sheeting. Only the concrete base survives with its inspection pit and the remains of a well that provided a water supply for the engines.
