Sarratt Church
Sarratt Church
The Church of the Holy Cross was founded in the 12th century and is located in what is now named Church End, a part of Sarratt that is separate from the main settlement, Sarratt Green. It is said that the villagers moved away from here in around the 17th century to escape bubonic plague that they believed was brought by the River Chess.
