Local train arriving at Quorn and Woodhouse
On the preserved Great Central Railway. This was a short train for Quorn and Woodhouse and Rothley only. The following service was for all stations to Leicester North. Locomotive No. 78018 is a BR standard class 2MT (mixed traffic) 2-6-0 built in Darlington in 1953. Withdrawn in 1966 it spent 11 years in the scrap line at Barry before being saved. It then moved around before its restoration was completed at Loughborough and it re-entered service in 2016.
