The Southwold Railway line once ran across this field
The Southwold Railway line once ran across this field
The line ran from the grey rectangular shed-like building on the left past the pumping station on the right.
Just to the east of the grey shed was where the one mile marker was located. Immediately to the west of the shed was a timber and concrete culvert #3, where the line crossed a drainage channel, before crossing the field and the occupation crossing #4 at Ducker's Drift. The pumping station was constructed much later.
