Anti-submarine boom mounting block, Cramond Island, Midlothian
During both WWI and WWII an anti-submarine boom ran between Cramond Island and the Fife coast via the islands of Inchmickery (which can be seen above the loop in the top of the block) and Inchcolm. This block probably dates from WWII.
