Hollands Road meets the A379, Teignmouth
A379 is a swathe of tarmac bulldozed through old Teignmouth in the 1980s. However, it does take through traffic out of the town centre, largely on the line of the existing Higher Brook Street. Here, near the station, it runs across the scene and up Myrtle Hill heading to and from Dawlish. In the foreground Lower Brook Street goes off to the left and the town centre. Straight ahead and over the railway, Lower Brimley leads to the homely Brimley valley.
