Entrance to Curzon Cinema. The Curzon Cinema (previously The Picture House and The Maxime) was opened on 20th April 1912 for Victor Cox, with a fundraiser for the families of Titanic victims. The building is Grade II listed. The cinema is the oldest continually running, purpose built independent cinema in the country.
