Cumbria Easter Rally 2023

Formerly known as 'Kirkby Stephen & Brough Classic Commercial Vehicle Rally' up to and including 2019. The 2023 event was the 23rd rally held in the Eden Valley in Cumbria, and the second with a new organising team. On the weekend of 8 and 9 April, many classic vehicles could be noted around the local roads and on show at various sites in the villages. A free bus service connecting Brough, Winton and Kirkby Stephen was offered, giving the visitor an opportunity to sample some historic passenger service vehicle delights! New for 2022 and continued in 2023 was a route extension beyond the Kirkby Stephen west station to the Fat Lamb Country Inn near Ravenstonedale. The weekend as graced with glorious weather, with beautiful sunshine after early morning mist and pleasant temperatures.

A road run leaving Brough at 1630 hrs on the Saturday afternoon saw vehicles taking a challenging route of approximately 25 miles via Kirkby Stephen, Great Asby and Soulby.
