Hampton Loade Station, Severn Valley Railway
Hampton Loade station opened with the rest of the Severn Valley Line on 1 February 1862. It remained open until 9 September 1963 when passenger services between Shrewsbury and Bewdley were withdrawn. Originally there was only a single platform and no crossing facility. When the line re-opened from Bridgnorth in 1970 Hampton Loade was the southern terminus until May 1974 when operations were extended to Highley and Bewdley.
