Grade II listed
Record show that an original church dated back to at least the thirteenth century. It was in a state of disrepair in 1749 and was restored in 1755.
The church was rebuilt in 1842 at a cost of £500 by W. A. Nicholson. It was completely restored again in 1884 by Thomas Ross who had recently bought the Manor house. The bell tower was rebuilt in 1925 by Sir Francis Sowerby, who also installed the east window.
It has an octagonal west tower, nave and polygonal chancel. The small interior is whitewashed, with 19th-century pews and altar rail. The windows have some plain coloured glass in their traceries.
The font dates from the fifteenth century, and the bell in the tower is dated 1637.
There are several memorials to the grant family inside.
The church was declared redundant in 1980.
