Traie Dullish Quarry
The quarry face is made up of turbidites that were laid down horizontally on the sea fllor over 400 million years ago, and have since been tilted by tectonic movements to a steep angle. The angle of the sunlight is perfect for picking out the detail of the bedding surfaces.
