MV Leinster approaching Dublin port in Ireland
MV Leinster approaching Dublin port in Ireland
Looking south-south-west towards the distant Wicklow Mountains. MV Leinster is navigating slowly into port, while I am on her B & I sister ship MV Munster (?), en route for Liverpool. The location is approximate, and I am open to suggestions for adjustment.

The c5000 ton ships date from 1968 and could carry 1200 passengers and 220 cars. They worked the Liverpool-Dublin route until about 1980. A variety of multinational operations (and changes of name) followed and this ship was scrapped in India in 2004. Thirty-six years is not very long, is it?
