Dr Pitt Memorial Park
Dr Pitt Memorial Park
This view is from Newtonards Road in the Protestant area of East Belfast. The park is named after a doctor, who gave outstanding service to local people. The park was reopened in 2024 following a £1.7 million investment. Its design was inspired by the nearby shipyards and the area’s maritime heritage. In the background can be seen the Harland & Wolff cranes Goliath and Samson - see LinkExternal link
