Anchor, Ballymacormick Point
An anchor at the extreme northerly tip of Ballymacormick Point described in J5284 : Shoreline at Ballymacormick Point. There have been many shipwrecks here over the years and I presume that this is the remnants of one of them - the site at Link
lists the names of 19th and 20th Century wrecks. Note - these rocks are only accessible at low tide. If you wish to visit this area be warned - check the tides in advance or you will get trapped and it is quite a perilous journey across some extremely slippy and jagged rocks from the main path at Ballymacormick Point.
