Crombie Old Church Ruin Southish East Corner
Just across the narrow road (Brae) from this church is marked on old maps as being a windmill. This sizeable collection of buildings is currently being developed — possibly housing — I hope they upgrade the very narrow single track road.
Not much chance of anyone renovating this old church that looks like a giant’s window box. The stonework is in a very dangerous condition.
Inside the walls of the church, right in the middle of the floor, stands a bit of an oddity. A large gravestone, nearly three feet wide and over six feet tall. I was not brave enough to risk life and limb for a closer look.
