Described in Co. Louth Archaeological & Historical Journal 1977 as 'a neatly-kept burial ground surrounded by a tidy pathway', this ancient site is now almost impenetrable LinkExternal link. Only the gables survive of the medieval church, the west gable, covered in ivy, is at left in the photograph.
