TG1022 : St Mary's church - view west is joined by its choir vestry to St. Michael’s (adjoining in the west), once serving the parish of Whitwell. A third church, All Saints, served the parish of Hackford and was destroyed in the fire of 1543; all that remains is a short section of wall, covered by vegetation, in the southwestern corner of the churchyard (seen here).

Link but the church is at present mainly used for children's services, community meetings and social and fund-raising events; presently closed to the public, a redevelopment group is seeking to modernise the interior of the building (with the backing of the PCC) and it is hoped that the chancel will be open after the refurbishment.
