Dartrey churchyard (Ematris parish) – Mayne memorial stone
This memorial stone to the Mayne family was erected in 1773 at the entrance to their vault in the graveyard of the church of St John the Evangelist on the Dartrey estate. Below the rough hewn Coat of Arms (shown here), are references to the family’s history and the names of those buried there. See H5916 : Freame Mount, Cootehill, and its early history.
