The Tyne at Walker

View across the Tyne from the Hebburn side, with a vessel alongside the Offshore Technology Park wharf at Walker .... this was formerly the fitting-out quay for the Vickers shipyard. The big hammerhead crane is still in regular use for the handling of large reels of cable.
